Submission Guidelines

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Submission Basics:

  • Sanglap publishes specific theme-based issues.
  • The articles are strictly within 7000 words (including notes and references) written in accordance with the journal submission guidelines, given below.
  • All submissions need to be sent via email. We do not process journal website log-in submissions. Nor do we accept paper copy submissions.
  • While submitting work, all contributors should quote in the email subject line the nature of work and the theme of the issue separated by a dash (e.g.: Article-Terror and Literature).
  • All submissions will include a cover letter (the body of the email). Only the first page of the manuscript will contain author information. The rest of the manuscript should contain no author-identifying marks.
  • Even if the author quotes their work, they should use the third person address for the initial submission and change them to first person in the final submission for publication.
  • All submissions including queries will be sent to the following email address: editors@sanglap-journal.in

Manuscript Style-guide:

Sanglap follows a clear and elaborately defined house style for publication. Please consult the style-guide below while preparing the MS. For any query, prospective contributors are encouraged to contact the editors.

Single Submission Policy:

When manuscripts are under review, contributors are asked not to send them for consideration anywhere else. We are a non-profit enterprise, and all reviewing and work is done without any remuneration or royalty basis. We encourage authors to inform us within the first two weeks of submission if they would not want to go ahead with publication. This will ease out the reviewing process and ensure the journal’s academic and consultative integrity. If contributors do not do so and want to withdraw work after later or after the peer-reviewing process is complete, the journal will not consider further submissions from the said contributor/s.

Plagiarism:

Sanglap has a clear Academic Malpractice statement under Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement. The journal has a strict house policy against any kind of plagiarism or malpractice. The journal has clearly mentioned above the steps to be taken against any such misconduct.

Defamation/Bias:

Contributors in the journals are prescribed not to use any defamatory or abusive language/image/data in their work. Defamation may take the forms of gender, language, ethnicity, race/caste, and others. Authors/contributors will be asked to remove any defamatory/objectionable component from their work. The journal does not subscribe to any defamatory language or data. It promotes inclusivity and diversity in work.
