Abstract

An ontological vis-à-vis teleological enquiry of the journey of the university since its inception in the medieval Europe down to the neoliberal developments/challenges of the universities from the former colonies foregrounds the liminalities and contestations pertaining to its discursive and non-linear progression.

Krishanu Adhikari, andra Radhakanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya

Krishanu Adhikari is an Assistant Professor of English at Kandra Radhakanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya, West Bengal. He has completed his Ph.D. in English from the University of Hyderabad. His area of research is Indian Campus Novels in English. He completed his M.Phil degree on Rohinton Mistry from The EFL University. He has been published in a number of journals like Journal of Literary Aesthetics and Muse India, and in edited volumes. His areas of interest include Indian English Literature, Western Campus Fiction, Indian Campus Novels in English, Diaspora Literature, and Literary Theory and Criticism.
